About: A Focused Approach
She is originally from Wisconsin. She spent over 36 years with the United States Air Force, first serving on active duty and then transitioning into the Air Force Civilian Career Program. While on active duty, Sherry was the first Air Force female military member to be assigned to Keflavik Naval Air Force Station Iceland. This was the first of many interesting assignments in her Government career.
Later, Sherry served as Housing Manager at RAF Greenham Common England helping to stand up the first Cruise Missile Wing. Her last assignment was at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, CO. She was a warranted contracting officer, and for the seven years prior to retirement, she served as the Director of Small Business. While in this position, she worked on a variety of small business programs in coordination with the Office of the Under Secretary of the Air Force at the Pentagon.
Sherry is a cum laude graduate of Regis University, Denver, CO earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Business from Webster University, St Louis, MO.
Sherry is a member of the National Veteran-owned Business Association (NaVOBA).
